We provide considered, long-term investment planning tailored to your goals, attitude to risk, and overall financial position, ensuring your money works as hard as you do, both now and for the future.

Lump Sum Investments

At Newquay Mortgage and Pensions, we specialise in providing holistic investment advice across your entire portfolio. Whether you hold ISAs, SIPPs, trusts, offshore investments, or a wide range of tax efficient wrappers, our advisers ensure your money is working effectively for you. As whole of market Independent Financial Advisers, we offer unrestricted access to investment products and solutions. Our recommendations are shaped entirely around your objectives, financial goals, and personal attitude to risk. We follow a disciplined and recognised investment process designed to minimise risk and maximise potential returns. By combining in depth qualitative research with robust quantitative analysis, we deliver highly informed, thoroughly researched advice. Our approach ensures your portfolio is built around your personal circumstances and investment objectives giving you clarity, confidence, and a clear long term strategy.

Tax Planning
Choosing the right tax wrapper is vital to protecting the long term value of your investments. We help identify the most tax efficient structure for your capital, whether that’s:
• ISAs
• A portfolio of collectives designed to utilise annual capital gains allowances
• Onshore or Offshore investment bonds for efficient tax deferred growth

Our priority is ensuring your capital grows without being unnecessarily eroded by tax.

Please note: The value of shares and investments can fall as well as rise. Your assets are managed on an advisory basis, not a discretionary basis.

Regular Savings

Regular monthly contributions are often viewed as lower risk than lump sum investing due to the benefits of pound cost averaging a strategy we explore in detail during our consultations.

Using our structured investment process, we establish whether lump sum investing, regular savings, or a combination of both is most appropriate for you. Your chosen approach is then matched with your risk profile and informed by our comprehensive research.

Tax Free Investments (ISAs)

An Individual Savings Account (ISA) offers a flexible and tax‑efficient way to save or invest. UK residents aged 16 and over (18 for stocks and shares ISAs) can shelter savings from income tax and capital gains tax.

ISAs allow you to invest in:

  • Cash deposits
  • Stocks and shares
  • Corporate bonds
  • Property funds
  • Gilts

While stocks and shares ISAs can fluctuate in value, they are generally considered suitable for medium to long‑term investment horizons (5–10 years). Withdrawals are typically unrestricted.
